RedPost/Shipshewana

August 12th, 2010

Greg and I installed the first 3 of 4 RedPost/Touches (that name is weird in the plural) in the town of Shipshewana today. The Shipshewana Retail Merchants’ Association is going to be collecting visitor surveys, advertising for upcoming events and providing a town map to help people get around using the kiosks. A nice, simple, [...]

Chicago’s newest RedPost/Sign: Filter

June 23rd, 2010

The newly-re-opened Filter coffee shop, located in Wicker Park, now has their very own RedPost/Sign as a part of the Wicker Park Bucktown network of signs. It’s the first Sign we’ve mounted on cement board; did I mention the inside of Filter has an amazing, modern-ish design with lots of different materials and looks awesome? [...]

RedPost in the Wild: Peabody, Mass.

June 9th, 2010

This is a picture of a combined QLess + RedPost display in a Sprint Store in Peabody, Mass. We also have the same setup in a Walmart vision center in Covington, Ga. The right hand side is a RedPost playlist, the left hand side is QLess’ txt-based queuing software. The screen and computer are one [...]

Bird-in-Hand

May 24th, 2010

I swung through Lancaster on my way back from NYC last week to finish up an installation of three more Sign/Kits at the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant and Family Inn, part of a group of businesses that my grandpa started and my uncles now run. They already had one LCD up and running on RedPost and [...]

RedPost in the Wild: Camp Hebron

As a child growing up in Pennsylvania, I attended Camp Hebron quite often. Situated in the mountains of PA north of Harrisburg, it’s a beautiful location with all the requisite attractions: mountains, big playing field for games, lake, swimming pool, cabins — and now RedPost. Check out these photos: Their posters look awesome! (Some wire [...]

March 15th, 2010

Friday, the Chicago Housing Authority building at 1414 N. Damen received their RedPost/Sign running Bus Tracker: Several of the residents I chatted with were excited — they use the bus a lot and hate waiting out in the cold.

RedPost/MCHCC

December 3rd, 2009

We upgraded the RedPost/Sign at Maple City Health Care Clinic from this: To this, a 26″ Sign/Kit (26″ LCD + fit-PC2): MCHCC just completed a massive renovation and second floor addition to their facility. It’s a huge improvement, with much better traffic flow, a larger waiting room, and new carpet/paint (no more wallpaper!). The new [...]

Goshen College Java Junction

October 28th, 2009

The newest RedPost, a 32″ Sign/Kit, went live today at Goshen College’s Java Junction coffeeshop, a student run operation where business majors get hands on experience running an actual business:

Highest per capita digital signs…in the world!

October 15th, 2009

Last night, on my way home from work, I took this photo. I’ve helpfully circled the kiosk where we have a RedPost installed: Isaiah and I joined Dave Pottinger, who’s almost 80 and in much better shape than most 40yo’s, in rotating the kiosk so that the screen faces the street; before, it was facing [...]
