Newest RedPost/WPB location

March 15th, 2010

Friday, the Chicago Housing Authority building at 1414 N. Damen received their RedPost/Sign running Bus Tracker:

Several of the residents I chatted with were excited — they use the bus a lot and hate waiting out in the cold.

RedPost/WPB New Locations

December 31st, 2009

Right before Christmas we installed two new locations. Here are some pics. First is Challengers Comics:

And second is Niche/City Soles:

RedPost/MCHCC

December 3rd, 2009

We upgraded the RedPost/Sign at Maple City Health Care Clinic from this:

To this, a 26″ Sign/Kit (26″ LCD + fit-PC2):

MCHCC just completed a massive renovation and second floor addition to their facility. It’s a huge improvement, with much better traffic flow, a larger waiting room, and new carpet/paint (no more wallpaper!). The new Sign is [...]

The newest RedPost, a 32″ Sign/Kit, went live today at Goshen College’s Java Junction coffeeshop, a student run operation where business majors get hands on experience running an actual business:

Last night, on my way home from work, I took this photo. I’ve helpfully circled the kiosk where we have a RedPost installed:

Isaiah and I joined Dave Pottinger, who’s almost 80 and in much better shape than most 40yo’s, in rotating the kiosk so that the screen faces the street; before, it was facing the [...]

Downtown Goshen’s new kiosk

October 2nd, 2009

The third RedPost-driven promote neighborhood went live today. This neighborhood, run by downtown Goshen’s Economic Improvement District, an Indiana BID, if you know what that means, displays ads for local businesses, submitted through RedPost’s software. RedPost: Does it work?

September 30th, 2009

I’m sitting here at the Gallery Cafe on North Ave. in Wicker Park. I just overhead this conversation as three urban professional types, all sitting at laptops around a table eating lunch, noticed the RedPost/Sign by the door that we installed 2 weeks ago:
Woman: Wait, what’s that? It’s new isn’t it?
Man 1: Yeah, it’s this [...]

RedPost’s outdoor excursion III

September 26th, 2009

I spent my Saturday morning (finally) installing a RedPost/Box inside the building beside the kiosk located in Downtown Goshen — it had been installed outside and was not connected to the internet. We pulled a VGA cable through some conduit buried beneath the side walk and I just hadn’t been able to get everything hooked [...]

RedPost/WPB part IV

September 22nd, 2009

Two more locations are up now, the first is Myopic Books on Milwaukee Ave and the second is The Silver Room, also on Milwaukee. Another 2 are in the works.

RedPost/WPB part III

September 11th, 2009

I’ve been on the road to NYC for a wedding this weekend (congrats @santhonys) so I haven’t been able to post the rest of the pics from our WPB install this week. Here they are, at Gallery Cafe, Feast, Goddess & Grocer, W Crossing, Wow & Zen, and De Luca Caffe, respectively.
