April 16th, 2010We just refreshed the What is RedPost and Signs pages. Check them out — I think it’s a lot clearer than it used to be (but correct me if I’m wrong). A home page refresh is coming up next.

We just installed this afternoon a 32″ Sign/Kit in Goshen College’s Admissions waiting area. They’ll be using their digital sign to give visitors to campus an initial look at the faces and places around campus, as well as a sense of the mission and values of the college (what corporate-type-folks call branding). Check it out:
Check out this blog template from designer Elena Gafita: Look strangely familiar? Yep. It’s eerily like the RedPost website design we released this past fall (the current one), same color scheme, same frilly things in the background, same primary nav speech bubble thingies. It’s beyond eerie, it’s freaky. Elena came up with her design back [...]
This popped into my inbox today: From: support@nuvatech.com Subject: Nuva Fiscal Year End Sale Date: February 4, 2009 3:57:20 PM EST To: Eric Kanagy Dear Friend! Nuva Technologies Inc. is Celebrating its 75th network client! In light of this, we’re having a fiscal year end software integration sale. We need to [...]
We’re busy as…beavers (?)…here at RedPost, with the following changes on the way: First and by far most importantly: You may notice that, to the right, the list of my Delicious links is gone, gasp! But don’t worry, they’ll now appear in daily posting via a handy little Perl script (thanks Stephen). I also experienced [...]
This week, we started the phase-out of the Corktop name by removing the big logo from the nav bar of our app. Short-lived as it was (first launched Sept 7 2007), we’ll miss it. But not that much. We decided that building a Corktop brand was confusing, when everything is and should be simply branded [...]
From this article from my delicious feed this week about the ad agency Anomaly, based in NYC, who’s attempting to profit off it’s creative juices in the downturn: I/denti/tee is one of a handful of projects Anomaly has under way that bears little resemblance to the work done at ad agencies. The firm collaborated with [...]
Michelle (of previous blog fame) read my post “Interesting Times” and sent me this image. You can tell she upgraded her Sign to the latest version of Wicker, as it has the new brand’s graphics on it. I’m not sure if it’s fair to call her a “total geek,” but I’m leaning towards “yes.” Fortunately, [...]
Our first web ad (other than previous Google text ads) is now live on DigitalSignageUniverse.tv here here here here and here. It’s a nice, simple ad with an attractive model in a threadless-style photo (thanks Cassie!). And thanks Danny for putting the ad together to show off our new brand a bit. And thanks Lionel [...]
If you believe what you’ve heard on TV during the last 10 hours, most Americans are going to remember today, whatever way it ends. As a Political Science major, I know I will. But today was great not only because of history happening around us; today, starting at about 5 a.m., all of us started [...]
