World HQ 2.4 (or so) + the new Signs arrive!

I’ve lost track of our World HQ versioning…and the shop and office have now diverged, making it more complicated, but we spent the day yesterday moving our shop to the front of the building we’re in. It’s a much nicer space with tons of light and only one minor defect: it has no heat (we’re working on it).

In other news, after several UPS-related shipping delays, our first shipment of our brand new, custom-built-in-Taiwan, industrial-grade Signs arrived yesterday! We first announced our partnership with Hurco Automation back on August 1 and now they’re finally here. The first orders ship out Monday. They’re going fast, so get your order in today!

Here are some photos from our fun-filled day. Oh, and it was fun. Especially the forklift-driving part. I’m totally, 100% uncertified to drive a forklift, I informed the semi driver but he was impressed with my skills nonetheless and even offered me a job at the shipping yard. Instead, we gave him a free 37″ TV that someone had dropped off at RedPost/Recycle. True story. But on to the photos (posted on our Facebook Page):

Doesn’t the new shop look nice? So tidy and…red-bin-filled? And those Signs are all lined up, just waiting to hop off the shelf, put on their extruded-aluminum frames and hop on into a FedEx truck. By the way, that forklift is super-ornery and likes to stall. I love it, can you tell?
