Fire & Ice: A Ruby Gem
It’s been 11 days since I last blogged — my longest blogging break ever since starting this blog on February 6, 2007. I spent a few days with family, had a great New Year’s Eve here in Goshen and worked throughout…I just didn’t feel like blogging. It’s a nice break though, between the “old, outdated, oh-so-2008″ RedPost and the “new, shiny, fancy, my-don’t-you-look-nice” RedPost of 2009. I’ll be blogging more about that shortly.
But before I get to musing about RedPost/2009, here are some photos from the Fire & Ice Festival that happened last night and this morning here in Goshen. For our sculpture, we choose to have the Ruby logo re-created in ice. For those of you non-techies, Ruby is the language that RedPost writes software with. Here’s the logo next to our sculpture:
