Software Development Internship

Work activities include:

  • participation and input into software design process
  • programming in a Ruby on Rails, PHP/Mysql/Apache environment
  • Linux hardware and software deployment
  • Experience in the day-to-day operations of a startup company
  • Interaction with clients and end users

Requirements:

  • independent work ethic, inquisitive learner
  • creative problem-solver
  • dependable, hard-working, responsible for completing tasks
  • familiarity with open source software and philosophy
  • programming experience
  • web development, regardless of language/platform
  • Ruby on Rails, PHP/Mysql, CSS/AJAX experience a plus, but not required

Compensation: Stipend negotiable, depending on work experience, minimum 10 week term

Business Development Internship

Work activities include:

  • participation and input in growth planning and implementation
  • experience  with  the  day-to-day operations of a startup company, including  accounting,  CRM,  sales, software development process, workflow, and order management
  • interaction with clients and end-users
  • the latest business technology tools and techniques
  • some travel may be required

Requirements:

  • independent work ethic, inquisitive learner
  • creative problem-solver
  • dependable, hard-working, responsible for completing tasks
  • familiarity with open source software and philosophy
  • familiarity  with web/Internet business models, current trends and history a plus

Compensation: Stipend negotiable, depending on work experience, minimum 10 week term
