RedPost’s new Sign…prototypes in progress
I stopped by The Mill today to check in on the new aluminum frame for RedPost’s new Sign (the replacement for the RedPost/Kit, which is no longer available). More details on the Sign later…but for now, here’s how the custom-designed aluminum frame is made.
- These bars of aluminum:
- Get heated up and pushed through a die in this machine (it’s a big, fancy hydraulic press):
- And come out looking like this:
I love big machines. And aluminum.
