RedPost/Auditions – Pitch your idea to us

redpostauditions.jpgThis weekend, New World Arts is holding open auditions for their 10th season of theatre. (Note: I stole their poster)

In the same spirit, today, RedPost is announcing our own auditions (traditionally called “beta testing”) for people who have a great idea for how to use a bunch of simple, inexpensive signs connected to the Internet.

Our example, RedPost/Goshen:

  •  10 signs around Goshen, in a grocery store, local chamber, farmer’s market, college, retirement home, tourist attraction, bar, coffee shop, and mall
  • arts/educational events only, within a 40 mile radius of Goshen

We’re going to be choosing between 5-10 locations to work with over the next 6 months to test out the new version of our software and hardware. So far, we’ve talked to museums, universities, government agencies, coffee shops, healthcare clinics, non-profits, media companies, tech companies, artists, and entrepreneurs. We’re done talking and want to start implementing…
Do you have a good idea? Do you want to work with us to make it happen and get a good deal in the process (as in, below what we’ll charge)?

Simply fill out this survey: http://theredpost.com/auditions/

We’ll be making decisions mid-February. Crazy ideas welcome!
