Tuesday Tidbits…Walmart’s Green, Linux PC and more
I just got back from Indy/Lafayette, so I don’t have a good blog post prepared, so I’ll just give you some tidbits.
- To the person who dropped off a less than 1 year old Pavilion notebook for recycling: it still works, it just has some boot problems which we worked out…it’s still yours if you still want it
- A new study finds that angel investors make an average 27% return while VC firms bring in something more in the mid-teens…of course, you need a portfolio of companies and can’t soley invest in your favorite digital signage startup, not that there’s anything wrong with that
- The United States Postal Service’s packaging is now Cradle-to-Cradle Silver certified [via Treehugger]
- Walmart’s now selling a $199 Linux PC (that’s very Green too!)…it’s $298 with Windows Vista installed
