RedPost Green Roof, alpha version
We were up on the roof of RedPost World Headquarters yesterday to scope out a location for a wireless antenna with 1 MG up/down service from the local MapleNet Wireless so I can drop Comcast like the bad, entrenched-business model company they are. Apparently, the roof was designed to hold rainwater — up to 3-4″ — that was then pumped inside and used in a giant cooling unit that’s still hanging from the rafters. When the rainwater ran out, they would pump city water up to the roof.

And if you look closely, you’ll notice that despite my quasi-plans to maybe install a green roof, mother nature beat me to it.
