Question: What’s your Walk Score?

July 31st, 2007

I’m always blabbing on my “lecture circuit” about how I feel like I live in a small neighborhood in Chicago, even though I’m in a small midwestern town of 35,000. Turns out I was right and now I have proof, thanks to Walk Score. You put in your home address and it gives you a [...]

Too many good articles in my RSS reader

July 30th, 2007

I was just taking my daily stroll through my RSS reader and came across far too many interesting articles to write blog posts about all of them. Here are two of them:

Indiana’s Property Tax Fiasco: From the always-interesting Tax Foundation’s blog, a perspective on some Hoosier’s attempt to eliminate property tax. Their point at the [...]

July 30th, 2007

If you like to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup environment where people believe in designing great software, focusing on what the user actually wants, accounting for all costs (environmental, social, and otherwise), and being a part of the community (local and otherwise), today may be your lucky day.

RedPost/Kit: First Reviewer Unboxing

July 26th, 2007

From SlashGear:
Remember that cool digital photo frame kit that I showed you last month? Well, I just had one show up on my doorstep today. It’s a hefty box, and the kit is full of goodies. The enclosure feels solid, though I really wouldn’t want to drop it on my toe.
We don’t want him to [...]

This is the front entrance to RedPost World Headquarters 2.0. You’ll note several new additions:

A new sign! Now UPS/FedEx/DHL and anyone else trying to find RedPost won’t complain that we don’t exist.

July 25th, 2007

We watch just over 8 hrs per household per day. Sheez, and I thought TV was dying a slow painful death. Turkey’s the next closest at 5 hrs/day, with Italy next at 4. Source: The Economist by way of Treehugger
